Version 1.3.2 released

A new version of iFroze is in the app store.  The changes were mostly behind the scenes, and keeping up to date type changes but there were some improvements to make it easier for new users to figure out what is going on.

Also, as per a new Apple policy, added a link to our privacy policy.

Version 1.3 released

A new version of iFroze is in the app store.  Most of the changes were to the way locations are entered but there were a few behind the scenes upgrades.  Unfortunately the app now requires iOS 6.0 to run.  Hopefully this won’t be a problem for too many people.

iFroze 1.1 Released

To all our users, please upgrade immediately to iFroze 1.1.  We have fixed a crash that seems to have affected each person who commented.  We also improved the process for saving data much more often.

If you have further issues, please contact us for assistance.

I have been amazed at what I found in the bottom of my freezer when testing our own app.

iFroze 1.1 Still in Review

iFroze 1.1 was submitted Oct 18. Apple still has it “In Review”. No word on the reason for delay.

While using 1.0, please “quit” iFroze regularly. If you are on iS 4+, that means doing the double-tap on the home button to bring up the list of “active app icons”. Tap-and-hold until the buttons shake and the little “-” shows up on each icon. Tap the “-” in the corner to close the app. (Note, if there are more than 10 apps here, that might explain why your device is slow.)

We have been testing heavily, and have been unable to cause any crashes since fixing the crash. I will post again as soon as Apple releases iFroze 1.1

iFroze 1.1 submitted

iFroze 1.1 has been submitted. This fixes a bug that 2 users managed to find. Thanks to the user who took the time to send an e-mail so we knew about how the app crashed.

As a result, we learned about the impact of the constantly changing iOS. One of those changes meant we were not saving data properly. This only mattered if the app or device crashed. If you have data, this matters!

We now protect your data much better. If anybody finds an issue, please use the link to send us an e-mail so we can fix it or explain it better.
